WHY ROSLYN?

  • Roslyn is qualified. As Mayor, she is committed to supporting Public Safety. She is Vice Chair of Golden Valley's PEACE (Police Employment, Accountability & Community Engagement) which is GV's Police Relations Commission, interviewing qualified candidates who are ready to serve Golden Valley. Safety and top-notch service is Roslyn's #1 priority! Roslyn is invested in ensuring Golden Valley has policies and procedures in place for obtaining concrete data, recruitment, and community engagement efforts.

  • Roslyn wants full disclosure of our city's budget and will work on behalf of residents and community needs. Taxes are at an all-time high, and keeping families in their homes is critical for all life stages desiring to call this city home.

  • Roslyn has a great relationship with partnering mayors and elected officials from surrounding cities and will collaborate closely with them on behalf of public safety and joint agreement efforts.

  • Golden Valley is a wetland that deserves our utmost care and attention! Our creeks, green spaces, bike paths, and play areas should be safe, preserved, and clean. Roslyn is committed to hearing your concerns for a better environment!

  • Roslyn would like Golden Valley to have an identity that welcomes community with vibrancy! Local businesses need support to be sustainable, and as a community the need to come together and celebrate with more festivals, art exhibitions and leadership recognition, are important to keep residents engaged and connected.

Roslyn is the Executive Director of the Dispute Resolution Center (DRC) in the Historic Rondo community of St. Paul, MN. She collaborates closely with City government leadership partnering with Ramsey County, The City of St. Paul, Hennepin County, and Anoka County to deliver restorative services. She has great relationships with elected officials statewide, advocating on behalf of systemic change and reimagining the future for a more equitable and inclusive society.

Through her work as Vice-chair of Golden Valley's PEACE Commission and PRIME,  she has been instrumental in emphasizing the importance of restorative practices through training, while addressing conflicts, redesigning public policy and procedures with a restorative framework, and fostering stronger relationships within the community.
